When Karen first called and set up their portrait appointment, I thought, this is going to be nice.  What I didn’t expect was three very beautiful ladies, dressed oh so stylishly, and who made me and my camera very happy.  Here are a few that I would like to share.

 

 

 

I have had the pleasure of knowing and working for Anna’s family in the past, but I had not met her until we met to discuss her wedding, and I was just drawn in by her.  I loved everything about her from her classical taste to her very infectious smile.  By the end of the meeting, I could not wait to photograph her wedding.  From the blue mason jars with candles in them to the old doors dripping with spanish moss and a sign saying Louisiana Woman, Mississippi Man, there was no detail missed.  Here are some highlights.

The last time I blogged about them was when we had an unbelievable time at their engagement session. I thought that they could not possibly top that, but boy was I wrong. From their downtown apartment, to the BB Club, to poker and pups, they had it going on.

When I showed up at Duff Green to start Evan’s session, there was a good chance it was going to rain, the sky was angry looking, and I just knew that we would have to re-schedule. As we started shooting, the sky let go, and it rained, no, it POURED!

We used every possible nook and cranny we could without getting out in the rain, and just when I decided that it was a total bust, the rain stopped. We jumped in our cars and rode to the Old Courthouse Museum where we managed to get some great outdoor images. Then Evan stole my heart when he asked if we could go to a run down old school to do some more images. All in all it turned out to be the most fantastic day. Here’s a peek at what we did.

Karlee is an amazing young woman, she is friendly, outgoing, and is amazingly easy to photograph. I had such a wonderful time with her, and here are a few of my favorites.

What a fabulous couple! We had SUCH a great time, and they were willing to do anything, (including dragging their chair into the middle of the street) I asked. Lindsay is this awesomely fashionable diva, and Mathew is this uber athletic swim coach. Between the two of them I was in HEAVEN!
